Our first stop was the village of Sintra and the royal summer palace. The road to the palace was quite a climb. Once there we toured the palace for an hour. Sorry, no photos allowed inside.
Then it was back down the mountain and into the village for lunch at a small local cafeteria. Delicious! Afterward we wandered the narrow passages and shops.
