Christopher Columbus solicits the Catholic kings

After lunch continued on to Cordoba. By this time it was well over 90 again. Senior Geeps hot us to the city center where we parked the car and went exploring. In the short distance e saw a turret and headed for it. We came upon the Alcazar of the Kings and for the next two hours explored the royal palace, fortress, and gardens. We discovered that this was where Ferdy and Izy first set up housekeeping and where CC petitioned twice for a couple of boats to prove the world was round.

Stopping for a cold one at a local bazaar we continued to several other historic sites before departing for our original destination, Sevilla.

We arrived at our hotel-a 5* surprise around 9. Another one of those riDICulosly long days with the Leopards! Great fun!
