Down one mountain side and up another we wind through the mountains for several more hours stopping finally in what was beginning to look like desert. The restaurant was a kasbah of unique design and the food and service both traditional and excellent. Gosh everyone is so-o-o nice!
After lunch we began get another serious climb and back into pine and cedar. Over the top we dropped down into a huge canyon reminiscent of our own Grand Canyon. The colors and strata were amazing. We stopped for many photos. The crayon was at least thirty limes long with a gentle river running through it.
