Our Egyptair flight was pleasant with great inflight service, interesting music, and very polite attendants.
We arrived in Cairo early evening and were met by our tour manager, Magred. He expertly guided us through the immigration and custom process. At the gate, having arrived a hour earlier, was Frenchy!
Due to the storms in New York, Denise and Marilyn will not arrive until tomorrow. Rick arrives midnight we hope!
Our hotel was upgraded and we are staying in the Maadi district of Cairo at the Maadi Hotel.
The continuing adventures of Tom and Bobbie Lucido and the World Travel Club...this year we descend upon the Mediterranean starting in Madrid. We will travel through Andalusia to Portugal. Flying to Casablanca we travel to Marrakech before departing for Munich where we will spend a day exploring before catching our continuing flight to Turkey. Next we will board a Greek Isle cruise. We’ll visit ancient Greece before ending our nine week journey in Egypt and Jordan.
