Nubian Restaurant

Our reward at the end of our day of touring was a boat ride to another small island and lunch at a traditional Nubian restaurant. Our table overlooked the lagoon, an ancient mausoleum and grazing donkey. We ask, "when is the amazing going to end?" Never we hope!

PS: The food was great...but, by now we're "jonesing" for a pork chop!

We made one last stop at a spice shop and then went to the airport. Check in was interesting. We all checked an extra bag and they forgot to collect the fee until the bags had gone through. Once through the second security check point they changed their minds...however our bag receipts were all together and there as no way to break out who's was an overcharge. In traditional Egyptian style they discussed the issue with Remon for a while and then simple waived us through. Gotta love these guys...just gotta...smile!
