Kom Ombo

Another temple built by Greeks and Romans. This temple was in front of the ancient gold mines were dedicated to two gods, the son if Horus and the crocodile god.

The temple still had a lot of the original color. Two unique features of the temple were the calendar and the medical laboratory-really.

As the sun set on the temple we ended our visit and headed over to the mummified crocodile museum...yes, crocodiles!
