A night with Andres

So.,.Andres is the Madrid wine dude who does a wine and tapas tasting walking tour of Madrid. I found him on line with great reviews so we decided to book his tour. GREAT IDEA!

We started off with the local vermouth at a 500 year old bar, then moved on to an upscale ham bar-okay, I know it sounds dumb, but the ham was more than amazing as well as the aged sherry. Next was shrimp croquettes and champagne followed by pork filet and sherried onions...and three different reds. The end of the tour featured Gorgonzola and a raisin liquor. Great time. Fun company with two kiwis, two Brits, and an assortment of Americans. Now it is an another metro ride back to the hotel to get ready for tomorrow's road trip. AND TOM IS DRIVING!
