Our Fancy Nile Cruise

We were supposed to have had a private Nile luxury sailing barge (Dahabiya) but due to security issues at the various ports along the river we were upgraded to a large cruise ship. The M/S Amarco I (Google it), an Optima Cruise, is a 70 cabin, four deck, 5 Star luxury ship.

The upper sun deck has a bar, pool, and tented lounge chairs. The formal dining room is complimented by a cozy bar complete with belly dancer. This isn't what we wanted but it won't be too hard to settle in to the plush accommodations.

There's a masseuse on board and our group will have him busy all day long. In fact we filled his schedule so that there were no free slots for the other passengers today...smile. Ah, all those desert miles will soon be only a memory!
