We arrive mid afternoon and went straight to a local restaurant for our now ever present chicken dinner, which by the way was really good! We checked into our hotel for some down time and to catch up on the Internet. At 9:00 we went up to the roof for dinner-it took the traditional Egyptian 10 minutes to cook (translation: One hour). All the while the noise from the street below was stifling. It's Saturday night and the bridal photo shop next door to the hotel was quite busy. Smile.
Tomorrow's another early day.
The continuing adventures of Tom and Bobbie Lucido and the World Travel Club...this year we descend upon the Mediterranean starting in Madrid. We will travel through Andalusia to Portugal. Flying to Casablanca we travel to Marrakech before departing for Munich where we will spend a day exploring before catching our continuing flight to Turkey. Next we will board a Greek Isle cruise. We’ll visit ancient Greece before ending our nine week journey in Egypt and Jordan.
